Advair HFA Inhaler combines two drugs: fluticasone, a steroid that prevents swelling, and salmeterol, a bronchodilator that relaxes muscles in the airways. Advair improves breathing and helps control the symptoms of asthma and COPD, but should not be used in the event of an asthma attack.

Advair HFA Inhaler is not a rescue medicine, and should not be used in the event of an asthma or bronchospasm attack.


Shake the Advair HFA Inhaler for at least 5 seconds before each spray.

Rinse your mouth with water after each use of your inhaler.


Do not use Advair HFA Inhaler if you have an allergy to milk proteins.
