Alphagan P is an eye drop medication containing brimonidine which is prescribed to treat pressure inside the eyes caused by ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma. Alphagan P is an alpha agonist that works by reducing the amount of fluid within the eye which then decreases the pressure inside the eye.

What should I do if I miss a dose of Alphagan P?
If you miss a dose of Alphagan P, you should take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose.
What is the difference between Alphagan P and Alphagan Z.
Alphagan P contains brimonidine and is available in 0.15% strength. Alphagan Z contains brimonidine tartrate and is available in 0.1% strength.
