• While taking Caduet, avoid eating foods that are high in fat or cholesterol.
• Alcohol and grapefruit products can increase the risk of side effects and should be avoided.

Common side effects of Caduet include but are not limited to:

• Nausea.
• Upset stomach or diarrhea.
• Swelling in your legs and ankles.

Get medical help if you have any of the following side effects of Caduet:

• Abnormal muscle movements or tremors.
• Muscle stiffness.
• Severe drowsiness.
• Feeling like you might pass out.
• Worsening chest pain or chest pain that spreads to your arm or jaw, with sweating, nausea, and a general ill feeling.
• Signs of a liver problem including upper stomach pain, jaundice, dark urine, tiredness, or a loss of appetite.
• Signs of skeletal muscle tissue breakdown including fever, unusual tiredness, muscle pain, muscle weakness, muscle tenderness, or dark urine.
• Symptoms of an allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, hives, or swelling in your face, lips, or throat.

What should I do if I miss a dose of Caduet?

If you miss a dose of Caduet, you should take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is less than 12 hours until your next dose, then skip your missed dose.
