Daliresp (roflumilast) is a medication used to control symptoms caused by lung diseases, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and bronchitis. Roflumilast helps prevent symptoms of wheezing and shortness of breath. This drug is also used in combination with bronchodilator medications to treat COPD. This medication is not meant for quick-relief, so use an emergency inhaler, such as albuterol, for sudden breathing problems.

How long does it take for Daliresp to work?
It may take several weeks of using Daliresp before your symptoms improve. In one study, COPD patients who took Daliresp daily for 4 weeks showed signs of improved breathing when given bronchodilator tests.
