Estrace is a female hormone medication containing estradiol. Estrace is used to reduce the symptoms of menopause including hot flashes and vaginal dryness. • Stroke symptoms including sudden severe headache, slurred speech, vision problems, balance problems or a sudden numbness or weakness especially to one side of the body.
• Blood clot symptoms particularly stabbing chest pain, shortness of breath, sudden vision loss, coughing up blood or warmth in one or both legs.
• Heart attack symptoms such as nausea, sweating, chest pain, chest pressure or a pain which spreads to your jaw or shoulder.
• Symptoms of an allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, hives or swelling in your face, lips or throat.

If you miss a dose of Estrace, you should take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose.
