Get medical help if you have any of the following side effects of granisetron.

• Headaches with chest pain, fast or pounding heartbeats, fainting or severe dizziness.
• Signs of high serotonin levels in the body such as a fast heart rate, nausea, vomiting, hallucinations, fever, agitation, overactive reflexes, diarrhea, fainting or loss of coordination
• Signs of increased blood pressure including shortness of breath, severe headache, anxiety, confusion or a buzzing in the ears
• Symptoms of an allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, hives or swelling in your face, lips or throat

What should I do if I miss a dose of Kytril?

If you miss a dose of Kytril, you should take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose.

What is the strength of Kytril?

Both Kytril and the generic alternative granisetron are available in a strength of 1mg. Only brand name Kytril is available in a strength of 2mg.
