What is Ergocalciferol?

Ergocalciferol is a prescription medication that is used to treat rickets, hypophosphatemia, and lowered function of the parathyroid glands (hypoparathyroidism). Ergocalciferol is a form of vitamin D2 and helps your body to absorb calcium.
