Common side effects of Plendil include:

• Heart attack symptoms – spreading chest pain or pressure, nausea, sweating
• Pounding heartbeats
• Feeling light-headed or passing out
• Shortness of breath, swelling in hands and feet
• Numbness or tingling

What foods should I avoid while taking Plendil?

Grapefruit and grapefruit juice contain an enzyme that alters the way Plendil works. Alcohol can interfere with how effective Plendil is, and may increase side effects like dizziness and drowsiness.
