What is Prometrium?

Are you tired and frustrated with the cost of your prescription medications? By ordering with RXConnected, you can save up to 90% on the price of Prometrium. We are a safe, convenient and affordable option to expensive drug prices. Order online or call us 7 days a week.

Prometrium contains progesterone which is similar to the female hormone progesterone which is naturally made by your body. Prometrium is given when your body does not make enough progesterone to cause menstrual periods in women yet to reach menopause. This medication may also be used to prevent overgrowth in the uterus lining in postmenopausal women who are receiving estrogen hormone replacement therapy.

Make sure to always read the patient information and instructions before using this medication. Always follow your doctor’s directions.

  • Prometrium capsules should be taken with a full glass of water.
  • Prometrium is typically taken at night as it may cause dizziness or drowsiness.
  • Self-examine your breasts monthly and have regular physical exams while taking this medication.
  • Tell your doctor if your condition worsens or does not improve.
