Renvela is a prescription medication that is used to prevent hypocalcemia caused by elevated levels of phosphorus and to control the levels of phosphorus in patients with chronic kidney disease that are on dialysis. Renvela contains the phosphate binder medication sevelamer.

What should I do if I miss a dose of Renvela?
If you miss a dose of Renvela, you should take it with food as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose.
