Common side effects of Tasmar include but are not limited to:

• Unwanted or uncontrolled movements.
• Nausea or vomiting.
• Headaches.
• Sleeping problems, increased number of dreams, or drowsiness.
• Diarrhea.
• Abdominal pain.
• Gas.
• Dry mouth.
• Increased sweating.
• A change in your urine color.

Get medical help if you have any of the following side effects of tolcapone.

• Falling asleep suddenly during daily activities. If this happens, do not drive until you have discussed this side effect with your doctor.
• Easy bleeding or bruising.
• Chest pain.
• Fast or irregular heartbeat.
• Breathing problems.
• Muscle pain, soreness, weakness, or stiffness.
• Mood or mental changes including hallucinations, agitation, or confusion.
• Strong urges including sexual or gambling urge.
• Symptoms of an allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, hives, or swelling in your face, lips, or throat.

What should I do if I miss a dose of Tasmar?

If you miss a dose of Tasmar, you should take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose.
