Uloric is a prescription drug that prevents gout symptoms by reducing production of uric acid in the body.
Always follow your doctor’s instructions and use Uloric exactly as prescribed.
Do not use Uloric if you also take azathioprine or mercaptopurine.
Uloric may cause an increase in gout flares when you first start taking it. Your doctor may prescribe other medications to help control these initial flares.
