Get medical help if you have any of the following side effects of ondansetron:

• Fast or pounding heartbeats.
• Stomach pain, severe constipation or bloating.
• Headaches with chest pain, fainting, severe dizziness or a fast or pounding heartbeat.
• Vision changes including blurred vision or temporary vision loss.
• Jaundice.
• Signs of a high level of serotonin including fast heart rate, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hallucinations, fainting, loss of coordination, agitation, fever or overactive reflexes.
• Symptoms of an allergic reaction such as difficulty breathing, hives or swelling in your face, lips or throat.

What should I do if I miss a dose of Zofran?

If you miss a dose of Zofran, you should take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip your missed dose.

What is the strength of Zofran?

Both Zofran and the generic alternative ondansetron are available in strengths of 4mg and 8mg.
